Gold foreign coin value British half sovereign

I was wondering if anybody can give me a idea of how much this is worth. It's 1884 British have sovereign. Looks to be in decent condition I have no idea. I want to sell it to my neighbor but I don't know how much it's worth or where to start.

Thanks! I just got a tip on a load of coins. A freaking load... My brother in laws family has them. I won't know more Til summer though... I told them I have $50k to spend. Oops! Oh well, should get me to see them though...
