Hello all, well, I got my V3I a few days ago and I have been patiently waiting to hunt with it..the weather here in Florida is just prime for good digging, So. I call up my dad and son who hunts with a Whites Eagle SL II, and (son) IDX , we head out to an old favorite spot,, we aren't on the beach no longer than 15 minutes and he's whistling for me to come see.. He has a grin from ear to ear.. the dig was a 10k gold ring.. heavy with a nice red stone.. the ring was about 6-7 inches deep.. well I take a picture and get back to my spot and no sooner I'm back hunting and he's whistling again.. I head back over and he hits another piece.. a nice gold pin... the evening ended up well for my dad and son.. they each had good finds,, my son hunts with a Whites IDX and had produced a nice pocket full of newer clad and one thin gold bracelet,, me on the hand have my hands full trying to learn the new Whites V3i.. I'm sure it will take a little time but so far it seems the more I use it and learn it , it will rack up ,, lol I hope.. anyway.. here are two pictures of the ring and pin my dad found.. Happy hunting all and I hope to be posting some good finds here soon..
