Hello,

I was detecting the dechutes river at a raft out in site, and scored a nice wedding band.

Inscribed inside - as well as benchmark 14k

I have spent about 45 minutes trying to find dechutes county marriage stuff, but these ‘vital records’ all involve a name, not just a date.

How do we return this thing?? Any larger data bases of marriage records that can be easily searched?

By the way, I felt like an absolute champion doning the wetsuit and scooping out midtown targets. 15 mikes hard lemonade caps, and a freakin gold ring!!

1 in a million chance returning it as you do not have enough info for success. Just my honest opinion.

The company also manufactures rings and other jewelry. You might try emailing them with the info and a photo. Maybe they can help.

Beautiful Gold ring recovery! :occasion14:

Sweet Golden Ticket - Congratulations!!!:occasion14:

awesome find but the info is pretty vague for any sort of real research. but good luck.

Good luck finding them. Nothing like making a return.

That would be a grest return and awesome find I love finding rings when I can Not often Well done good luck on the return

Good luck with your search but there is no guarantee the person who lost that is even from the area. :icon_scratch:

Wow you are above and beyond lol. I would just consider it mine after checking CL lost and found.

Dick Tracy would figure it out - but I am not he.

I have made a couple recoveries for people, and I know it’s worth more to return it than the scrap value.

Since it had the date, and I am most likely in the area the owner lived, it seem a tad more likely than impossible!

Pure Life ring is yours Keep it!

As much as I hate Fakebook, it can work wonders in some cases. Hide the info you've shared above and give it a shot. Aside from a gold ring, whaddaya got to lose?

Great find! You could try the local newspaper records for weddings on the inscribed date. Beyond that not much chance.

Nice find! Congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice ring. I found one with a date in it, but it was made in Sweden, so zero chance or returning it. School rings you have a chance on, but I' ve never found one.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!!
