This is the camel wheel. Working 10 feet from a gold cube. Running the same material for the same time. The gold cube crew had almost a 1/4 ounce . We had maybe a 1/16.
Fine gold when it hits air floats. The gold cube uses an under flow keeping the material under water and wet. The wheels allow the material to contact air and will float with or without a additive like soap or jet dry.

Jreiber I've also watched the wheels work and they weren't catching the beach gold very well. I haven't used one myself so I can't say whether they were set up right or not. The Gold Cube does work okay but we're having better results with a new box that uses ribbed matting and drop riffles to create low pressure areas where the gold drops. We're not needing jet dry either. Where are you located? I'm in Hoquiam. Be glad to show you what we're doing if you're close.
