Everyone says there's no gold in florida, What about that blounstown man who found it in his creek?
there has to be some gold right in creeks and old river beds?

Lived in Florida my whole life and have heard of gold being found here for a whole host of geological reasons. If true, that certainly would be news!

Florida is a giant limestone karst system. It has no history of vulcanism which is required to deposit gold on or near the surface.
