I was digging for old bottles in an ash dump. This piece of metal caught my eye. I rubbed on it and got an instant shine. Most metal in these dumps come out crusty so I knew this was good metal. It tested 22K or better with the acid test and weighs 12.14 grams. A few years after I found this I ran into another bottle digger and he told me of someone finding a bar of gold in the dump. I told him it was me that found it and it wasn't a bar of gold but a thin piece. Some stories get bigger and bigger.
