Lol.... not in the buttons themselves, but an unexpected bonus in a recent lot of buttons I bought. Digging through them I found what looks like a ring cabochon with an initial escutcheon. The base may be glass, or it may be onyx, but the initial was held on with a small screw, so I removed it to find a sweet little 10K. Not a lot of gold, but as a surprise find it was sweet. Now what's your thoughts on the initial? An N, U? Something else?
