Hey folks,
To compliment my last post of the silver jewels here is images of the gold jewelry I have dug since beginning detecting about 4 years ago. The first image is of chains and charms that I have dug, about 50/50 play grounds vs sports fields. The second photo of the rings: many of these are childrens rings found in the sand piles/woodchips. The nicer ones, particularily a mans wedding band in the top row was found in a soccer field about 4 inches deep, the womens pink heart shaped stone was found in a nother field and is posted separately. There is a Black Hills gold ring that was found at one of the mountain parks here. The third photo shows the religious medals/charms I have dug - these were found at about the same ratio of those finds in the first photo - ~50% in the play ground areas and ~50% in other park areas. This is such an awesome hobby! I find it hard to believe so much is lost by people and that we are able to find it! Note-I have also found two school rings that I have been able to track down the owners and return thei rings to them. 8)
Take care every one and HH!
