Gold - Lead & a Buffalo

My last two trips have been very productive for me - may not look like much to some of you guys but I am easily excited when I find anything from the civil war era.

Two nice fired .58 caliber bullets - a smash 3 ringer - several small buckshot - all these items came from a small skirmish site in NW Georgia. Also found the button looking thing - not sure what that is to be honest, maybe some of you guys will know.

The American Legion pin got me really excited, when I dug it all I could see was the US in the middle - kind of disappointed when I cleaned it and saw American Legion but it is still a pretty good dig.

The small ring is just that - very small, it wont even fit my pinky - it has gold on part of it still and aparently held three small stones of some type at one time. Less than 10 feet from the ring I found the 1916 buffalo. I also found a 1968 memorial cent - you all have seen them I'm sure so I didnt put a picture of it.
