Unfortunately, unlike a find, that I perhaps dug in a field, with a GoPro filming it etc, this could be the first of the recovery process for something I've been looking at for a number of years - so I sincerely apologize for the lack of background. I hope you understand why.
Hopefully this will be a small chapter in a great adventure! one of which I WILL share if it comes to fruition!!

Just a little background (although not too much detail!!)

have been researching stories of a previous wreck salvors base on a (now) uninhabited small island. Its close to a reef so they used to sit and wait for ships to wreck, maybe entice them onto the reef with fires / lights maybe?
I've found lots of ships artifacts (on land and in the water) and evidence of some occupation and a story that kept repeating was that one particular ship wrecked, but the crew made it to ANOTHER close by island (maybe sensing what was about to happen?) and hid their loot - never to be found again!!

Gotta love a good sailors yarn, right? !

Anyway.... coin was fond on the so called other island..... so the story continues...…
