Hi all,

New to panning and don't know much about it, other than the basics...my parents own about 10 acres in the mountains above Franklin, NC in Macon County (halfway between Franklin and Hayesville). There are two seasonal streams on the property. I was going to explore these a bit over the 4th of July week...I know Franklin is gem rich...do you think it is/would be worthwhile in this area? Thanks for any advice help...etc. Any advice or suggestions appreciated.
