Gold panning in jemez .

Hello fellow prospectors ! I'm going to jemez for the first time in a very long time , but this time I'm bringing along my Garett gold panning kit ! This will be my first time panning at a " real river " . ( I've done the rio grande but , well ...not much gold there if any ) so I hope I will find even just a little but for my first time . Do you have any tips ? I've been basically studying on where to look and I have the panning moves down greatly
