Gold Ring and 1917 Walking Liberty found Today!

Hi Guys
Had a great day digging today. I found a gold ring and a 1917 Walking Liberty. A guy asked me if I could help him find his gold ring he lost. A few days earlier he was walking his dog took off his glove and his ring went flying. He pretty much knew where the ring might be. I loaded my gold program and it took me five to ten minutes to find the ring. I'm glad I was able to help the guy.
I detected for about five hours and finally hit a deep signal. The ferrous signal bounced around, conductive was right on. The coin was 10 inches deep. I took my time getting this coin out. I learned my lesson scratching my standing liberty on my last dig.

Wow! great job. Is this your 2nd silver for the year? SLQ being the other, then that recent capped bust you found. When you find silver, it is good. I just get nickeled and dimed.

Great job finding that ring, sure does help when the person knows about where.
I'm going to be looking for one myself for a lady that lost her ring a few years ago in the front yard. Did the Half come from his yard or your favorite silver mine? WTG!! DFW
