Gold ring and button at park

This is a very small infant ring and some kind of button with a little change I found today at an east Texas park,, Happy Hunting

I believe the crossed hatchets was a Civil War symbol for the enlisted Pioneer Corps.

Thanks for the info Danimal, I was not aware of Civil War activities around this area. I have it cleaned now and will post a better pic maybe some can identify it.
