I was in like flynn on a 15 minute break today. Local thrift. They had a box of tietacks for $1 each. I picked out all the gold ones.

I have never seen this type of cTo product before - the white base is 10k and the yellow is 14k. I got three of those. Then the baltic amber is 14k w Danish marks and the smoky quartz is 10k.

Figure I’ll scrap the cTo pins ($90) and try to get $35 each for the better ones. Can’t complain.

Photo of back of cTo - the others I’ve seen have sterling base with small 10k piece on top. These are solid gold w 10k base and 14k top: ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1544639307.396171.webp

Almost any tack pin I come across that has we'll set and secured stones is a good indication it'll be gold. I've got small collect of awards and sorority pins made of gold, as I admire the workmanship of them. Unique gold stick pins is an other item I tend hang on also if I can pick em up cheap.

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

If you can identify the company you might get more than scrap for the service awards. Just sold three at 15% above 100% melt.

I have zero idea how to ID the company. There are about 9 points of diamonds in the big one. I tried searching “intersecting squares” w company logo, corporate logo etc. If anyone has a clue on other search ideas I’d love to hear them —- of course lol

Nice finds good eye!!!!
