Gold testing acid tests

Hi all, I am new here. I inherited boxes upon boxes of stuff from my grandparents and am just now starting to go through them and determine what it all is and value, if any. I came across an old vanity set. Looks like silver and is not magnetic. Failed the silver actor test, but passed
for 10k. Maybe white gold? Idk how accurate the acid tests are. No markings whatsoever on the set. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thank you!!

With no markings it is most likely not a precious metal. Take it to a dealer and let them test it for you for free.

That's what I was thinking too, thanks. Figured I would check here in case someone know something out if the box.
