Gold!!!!

Hit Zuma beach this morning. Wet sand finds were almost nonexsintant so I worked the blanket line. Got lucky with a 10k Gold ring. Its a cheapie but gold is gold . Lots of coins, 1 tiffany earring (tried to find the other with no luck), and some other junk jewelry.

Using the CTX 3030 with the 17" coil. Beach mode, salt water off, no discrimination, manual sensitivity 24. The 17" coil is a heavy mother, lasted 4 hours. Should have brought the stock coil so I could have detected longer.

I hear you if I would have have brought my stock coil I wouldn't have wimped out so early. I usually leave when the kids start rolling in. At Santa Monica you can't park there until 6am or else I would be there with my headlamp at 4am.
