Has to be more than what is showing.
When you bust it in half post up some more photo’s would you?

Hopefully he will scratch around and find the vein and excavate the easy ore.

Gold showing on both sides I hope it go's all the way through. I'll post more photos when he decides what to do with the specimen. First time out to this old prospect sun slipping behind the hill when he came up.

My son just found this nice piece on an outcrop crawling through the brush. Right after this Bear track, he's heading back before sunset lol.
Awesome. Good luck a take care!

My son started breaking the quartz specimen up first with a single jack. Then the jaw crusher and chain mill some nice small quartz and gold specimens came out of the jaw crusher. They might get the acid bath too expose more gold he gave me a 1.90-gram piece and a good pinch of dust for the mercury ball. Pretty good for a pound of rock Happy Mining.

Incredible I wonder how many people have walked past that without noticing.
That must be pretty high up in the Sierras
Goes to show you, the gold is still out there.

Most of the gold is we find is low elevation below the snow line.

Spectacular find! Visible gold in surface ore is not very common to come across these days..! Almost unheard of.. Congratulations, beAUtiful specimens!:icon_thumleft::occasion14:
