Spent 5 hours finding every peices of aluminum beer cans, pull tabs and crushed cans. Roughly 38 pull tabs, a record for me. Then I moved to another location and found the better stuff. No gold or silver but the old pin and the fake coin was fun. My heart skipped when I saw the old coin because I thought it was a spanish coin then I turned it around and it had the word "COPY" stamped on it. Fun while it lasted!!! Bad Finds for today.webpOld Pin.webpOld Coin Front.webpOld Coin Copy.webpGood Finds for today.webp

I wonder if another detectorist droped that replica coin for a bit of fun, great hunt !!!

I know that feeling when finding a fake Spanish coin... Even though mine is an obvious fake lol

That is a cruel-cruel joke

Better the rush than none at all!

That was a lotta diggin'!

Too bad about that "copy"; I wish you good luck in your next hunt ...maybe you'll get a real one next time.

LOL Oh man that is just wrong, but I have to admit I got this fake gold dabloon with my AT Pro, I'm going to wait until ESPN is down at Boca Grande Pass following the Pro Tarpon Tournament and drop it near the camera man. And no, I don't have anything else better to do LOL.
