Hello from Hoggbob in Moncton N.B.
I am new to metal detecting. Just retired so need a hobby to keep me from becoming stiff and brittle. I have been studying u tube videos on the subject for the past year + and this seems like it could be a terrific way of spending time and keeping flexible.
I am also new to New Brunswick so I have been researching the area for places to do some prospecting.
Did go out once so far and found some things. Mostly junk though, nothing to brag about but find it interesting to try and identify what it is or was.
Hoping Treasure net and members can help me along this interesting path I decided to take.

Hi there. Welcome to the hobby. I’ve been DTing for a few years but just recently joined the forum. My advice is to find the threads that are specific to your brand and model of MD. There you’ll find a lot of help understanding your unit. That’s what I did and was great. Then just browse the threads and when something catches your eye, read up. Hope that helps.
