I am a new treasure hunter, started last year. Barely breaking the surface. I totally bought the wrong unit for myself, I bought a Garrett ATX just looking for a top of the line machine. I was getting frustrated until a good friend came up from Texas and we spent a day together. Now I know, as a beginner I need an easier machine to get into this. I bought an AT Pro and am looking to sell my ATX and learn the Pro from the forum. Really looking forward to meeting and greeting with folks on this site.

The ATX is a good PI machine for beach work and for relic hunting a fairly clean site. The AT Pro is a good detector to start the adventure of metal detecting.
