Nice point!
It looks like it's been resharpened many times and was probably much larger originally. I always like finding points that you can tell were much used by their owner. Congrats!

Nice piece! How 'bout a little more info on the scenario, like what do you do for a living and if you were on a job site or???
Thanks for sharing and hope you find #2 today.

I am a dock builder and I was working on a dock and I went down the beach to hunt a small cliff side. This was my first point ever I still can’t believe it. I’m hoping to find out how old this point is

Going to be tough to date that one as it doesn't have much left of the original flaking and shape for a solid type identification, but, knowing what area you found it in would help much.

Nice find . Were you looking for them or just happened to spot it ?

If you are exposing old dirt, deeper dirt/sand while building docks, you need a metal detector!
I've seen gold coins posted here that were/was found on the Vineyard.

Sure has the general outline of a paleo point, possibly Clovis. Any grinding(smoothing) along the sides near the base?

Your first point is a beaut! Congratulations and keep your eyes pealed!
