It's been a while since I've been able to go out hunting so I thought I'd share. Spent about $120 for everything. 27 grams of 14k, 5.5 grams of 10k, and approximately 70 grams sterling, including a mint rare retired James Avery elephant charm and a lovely "pocket piece" cross by Jeep Collins.

I went to a flea market today and didn't find anything worth buying, but there's always next time.

Sweet! That dragonfly ring in the brooch look like they will carry a nice premium on them!
It's pretty hit or miss. Seems like all the dealers go shopping on everyone else's boost before they set up their own anymore. Two years ago you find awesome stuff down there now you have to try to search for a long time before you find some decent!!

Congratulations I know you're happy!!

The amethyst brooch is a pristine 13.5 grams of 14k filigree & toothy pearls and what, like, 5-6 carats of amethyst? I paid $100 for that, the enameled dragonfly ring, the elephant, the cTo 10k pins and a little sterling, bundled from one seller. Basically got her down to 50 for the ring, 30 for the charm and 20 for the rest. She did ask me while totalling up if I could read the mark on the brooch, to which I honestly responded "it's kind of scratched over".

Edit re: the flea market, it's kind of the opposite here thankfully, which is why I haven't 'gone over to the other side of the booth' lol. I do WAY better buying there than I would selling. I want to be better about record keeping this year but I'd say I average 50-100 just in scrap metals every visit to this flea market. Even in cooler weather as long as it isn't frozen or storming. And I rarely spend more than 30 or 40 bucks, I limit the cash I carry (unlike estate sales now) to help keep impulse purchases down.
