Today was my first day out this year. Tried an old house place I've tried before with a new coil (thought mine coulda been bad). Not much luck but I've never seen the Good Housekeeping lids until now. And I collect old bottles so the glass was nice. I'll post the large piece on "what is it" for ID. Glad to be back out. Gotta dig the junk....I can do that!

Can someone explain why the lids have that odd-shaped hole?

I was thinking maybe baking powder or baking soda can. It lets you dip a spoon in and level it off on the can.
