To hell with painting the house tonite - Ginger & I searched 2 boxes she picked up today.
I like to look at the ends of the rolls before searching- puts a jinx on the skunk factor.

I got one of those Panama Balbooies..... Doesn't it look like its made from the same planchet at a 50 Cent? Does the US mint make them?

That is nice to see the silver on the ends like that....especially a Franklin!! Yes, throw down that paint brush for a while Tim....lol. Very nice two boxes. Plus, you don't even have to roll the returns......lucky you. Congrats Tim.

I hope your close to being done with the painting.....seems like you have been painting for weeks now.

Yes, I believe the medio (i.e. half) Balboas are minted in the USA using our half dollar planchets. Be on the lookout for older, .900 silver medio Balboas (1962, 1953, and before). I found a 1962 specimen in a box of halves some months back; didn't post it. It's worth about what a common 90% silver half is worth. On the back, it says .900 silver in Spanish. Those were minted in the USA as well.

That is too cool, just love to see that bling showing on the end. ;D
