Back in the 1920's the notorious gangster al capone built a hideout in couderay, wisconsin which is about a 5 hour drive. al capone had many hideouts and one of those hideouts happens to b here would this b a good place to do some md'in if ya got permission.
Good Luck....I have been there several times and there is no way they will give permission for hunting it. I asked who owned it now and they said a relative of Capones from Florida....but wouldnt say who....
Al and his brother Ralph built that place in the 20's and rumor is they would run liquor in on boats during Prohibition....there is an old stone jail cell there also built into a hill.....hmmmm...They do not alow photos .....Ralph Capone also had a home nbear Mercer WI (Iron County) where he lived until he died in 1974 in a Nursing Home.
