Right where the article said it was. There has been some development in the area, but definitely worth checking what you can hunt.
I wonder if the old building was the school on the property.

Jeff and Ken I have to believe that was the $5,000 Gold and Silver cache that Morgan stashed on his route through Indiana.

On July 10th, Morgan skirmished in Salem. On July 11th, he was in Pekin, and on July 12th, they skirmished in Vernon. They passed just west of Madison on the way to Vernon.



It's possible, the person that contacted the farmer was part of Morgan's men and felt it was the right thing to do to tell the farmer since the Gold and Silver was taken from Indiana residents during the war.
