Alright I've been a bit lazy about posting my finds lately but some things just need to be shared.
My first good find of the day was an old buckle cover that dates back to around the 1880's or so. Good find for my relic pile, then after a makeup tin and some other stuff I found a 61 Rosey. After a bit more scrounging around I hit a big ugly signal but oh well here it could be anything. So I dig down about 5" and pull out the only Dodge Brother's Enblem I've ever seen (Chrysler bought out Dodge Brothers in 1926 making this emblem at least 90 years old). Way cooler than some Ford junk in my book.
After getting a bit thirsty a dealing with a cramp in my rib cage I took a break and visited some family nearby. After a quick refresher I decided to take it easy and hit an old church that's been pounded over the years while I waited on someone to join me for a bit. Here's where my new detector proves itself. I found not one but two War Nickels a wheaty, an old flower button looking thing, and some other goodies.
I'm all smiles.
