The East wind has really given us a nice cut in SE Florida this past week. I have a condo with a great view of a public beach and have watched 9 different people work the cut and dry beach areas. What really baffled me was that 3 of the them were not wearing headphones. They didn't seem to find very much which was not a big surprise but wondered where they learned to use their equipment. I have been on the beach everyday for several weeks and at times the wind was so strong I had some difficulty
hearing with the Excals stock headphones. Of the 9, 3 were using Excals (all greenie II's), 4 ATP's, 1Teknetics and one unknown. Most of them seemed to do ok except the two that came today with Excals. Not sure why but they didn't stay very long, either it's because this particular beach has been hunted so much or its starting to sand in.
I used an Excal Blue from wet sand to just above my ankles and a ATPro in the dry sand. My buddy who was visiting used a XP Deus mostly from water edge and dry sand. He did quite well before leaving on Monday morning.
Tried posting some pictures of the rings but having some computer issues or its me.
