So I bought this at good will and I cannot find anything like it online to help value it. It is a Rogers Brothers pie server and the design is Centennial which was made in 1972. But I cannot figure out what the finish is. As you can see by the pictures it is a beautiful gold/blue/purple finish. I found the piece in regular finish here: Antique sterling silverware and flatware, silver and silverplate sets

What do you guys think?

It is silver plated, not sterling and has begun to tarnish and discolor. It has no great monetary value. < $1. Sorry...

Ahh, bummer. So my next question is what kind of metal do they plate the silver on? It does not attract to a magnet. Is there any way to clean the tarnish? It sounds like this will just go into my silverware drawer.
