Got a beautiful day. Had to go. Found a few interesting relics, a silver heart.

Wow what a beautiful day. Went to one of the old homesites, and found a few relics. The wick was still in the lantern parts.The first was the Silver heart. Then the hunt was on. Not a lot, but it was worth the time. Really enjoyed the day...

No I couldn't find a pat. on the latern. This site has handed over some items that dates back to 1859.

I don't really know what the Heart went to, but it has two small holes on the sholders of the hear, and the back is hollow. Looks like it might have had a back on it at one time. I though some kind of locket.
