u have very good tastes in bills...all very cool, tho i can not help out w/ ID'ing the one, sorry, but cool bills none the less!

Bottom one looks Greek.
If so, this bill (dated Nov. 1944), could be one of the earliest issues after the Germans evacuated mainland Greece in October 1944.

I agree-Greece.

Best,
Scott

the sen and yen notes are japanese military occupation type nores

the 1944 note is greek (as the others have said) its a 1 drachma -- if i'm thinking correctly

Greece suffered hyperinflation under German occupation, and a new Drachma (GRN) was introduced in November of 1944 with 1 New Drachma equal to 50 Billion old Drachmai. Another possibility is this bill may have been issued by Greek partisans immediately after the ouster of the Germans in October 1944.
Don.......

So here is my question..

If it is one of the first notes after WWII is it worth anything???

I don't care cuz i am not selling it.. just curious.. paid only $1 for it hehe
