I went for a bit of prospecting on Sunday. I saw a spot on the map, and decided to check it out.

Houses used to be there, probably no earlier than the 1930s, expectations were not high, but there might be a silver coin or two there, so why not?

As usual, there was a lot of trash, and plenty of modern coins. Here is the pouch dump.

I knew my hunch was right, when this silver quarter turned up in one of the plugs.

I only hunted a little bit, I will return next weekend and give it a more complete beating. I ended up with a half dozen wheaties, a marble, brass clipper guard, .45 slug and a 1950 quarter.

Thanks for looking and good luck on your hunts.

Congrats on another busy hunt Tom, You sure dug your share of targets by what I see in the first pic and you capped it off with pulling a silver and a fist full of wheats. Gotta love a target rich site.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!!
