Got a used F4 first real MD

I picked up a F2 today for $150 it seemed like a good price. Its in good shape and seems to work well. Just figuring it out now. Did I over pay for this unit?

Trying to figure the ground balance out. So for just leave it on preset and works fine.

Think you posted in the wrong forum. But F series detectors from Fisher Labs have performed for me. My old Pioneer Bounty Hunter 202 just got a good cleaning and it works fine as the day I got it. While I have other metal detectors, I am always wondering if I am missing any targets with them. My Upgraded F75 does a great job and I always seem to go back to it. The F2 self ground Balances while the F4 actually was the machine I was looking at when I bought the F75. Not sure which one you bought as your post and title dont match. But think you did ok with the F4 if thats the detector you got. Let us know how it goes for you.

Yes it is a F4. I had a brain fart

The F2 has a preset GB, and does not self GB or else it would cost more than the F4.

I hunted with the F4 in 2014. $150 is a great price!!!. The GB only works in all mental mode and the VDI does not work in All metal mode.

It paid for itself in just a few months.

I have since upgraded to an F75 LTD SE.
