Got big silver from a road tear out

They’ve been tearing up and replacing some of the roads in my hometown. Unfortunately they move so fast that some of the better spots they tore up and refilled in the same day. I’ve been going in the evening and had some luck. As usual, most anything that was under the pavement was toasted… Including an 1892 Indian and a 1923 Buff. I’ve been rock tumbling some of the things. Couple of cool relics including a ford model T key. I’m thankful that the silver coins all came out nice. All three silver were in the edge of the tear out and probably not under the concrete for years. Some of the finds were from a ball field that I hunted Friday morning including the tokens. Also, I went back to the area I found the GAR button and found 4 more, including a cuff button. Weird though they were spread out some 20 feet apart. Anyway, thanks for looking and HH. Griff.

Hey Griff, I'm not familiar with detecting around torn up roads, why is stuff coming up in worse shape if it was under the road? Also, great finds...thanks for sharing.
