Try taking pictures of your gold on a dark back ground. They really stand out.

Great camera!!! Little hint for those close up shots!!!! of coins and rings!!!! Try a small tripod!!!! You will Be amazed at the results!!!! HH and picture taking Chug!!!!

I picked up one at a camera shop for 20 bucks and It is worth it especally in the detail!!!!

Nice pics.....I use an Olympus 850 SW when I am wading and it takes fair macro shots. But for really clear stuff I like the Nikon Coolpix L110, but it is by no means waterproof or easy to carry.
