Hit the beach early today.....lots of nails and junk. A few cheap bracelets....and this little stone. I've got my fingers crossed that its real. Its just the stud, it was a faint whisper. rock.webp

Thanks for looking...

The ways the stone holder attach to the stone tells me you may have a silver stud.... but the stone is going to be glass. Look very carefully on the stem it may say .925. Anyone detecting the beach needs two things...... a scale and a diamond tester. They run about $15 each. Nice find.

Just read some of his posts...he has a lot of beach hunting experience with some really nice finds.....and some fakes as well. Experience and a lot of hours swinging the coil really adds to the knowledge of good/fake jewelery.
Gold Nuggets :hello: ( you can send my check anytime dewcon4414....:laughing9: )

A good rule of thumb is that a good diamond would have a screw post. Not always but most of the time.
