Got my FIRST ring today at Jones Beach!

Well my Sand Shark finally ate the monkey on my back, and I found my first ring in the surf this morning at Jones Beach, on Long Island, NY. It is a junker I'm sure (no markings), but it is PRICELESS to me! Woo-Hoo! It feels exactly the same as finding that first gold nugget so many years ago!

Now, on to the first gold ring....Before your next hunt, sit down on the beach, put your hands on your knees face up, take a few deep breaths, and concentrate really hard. Then repeat after me. TODAY I will find GOLD. TODAY I will find GOLD! If you truely believe it will happen, but only if you say it out loud, it WILL happen. Sounds korny but it works. Even the bible says if you want something in prayer you must at least whisper it under your breath to be heard, so why should this be different?. Best of fortunes my friend and HH.

I forgot to tell you Terry, I got my Sand Shark in today, finally! It air tests great! Nice machine. The dealer, Ron at Windy City Detectors said I got the last machine he had. All others on back order. I personally think that Tesoro should send Dew Guru a comission for what he has done for their sales. I am not off until this weekend, but will be at some beach then. You had better believe I WILL FIND GOLD! I WILL FIND GOLD! If I am lucky my DF will be back from the repair shop at Whites for a backup. Only time will tell which will be my main detector....HH...Stuart
