Went out today to hunt long gone ghost town.

Next to cellar hole I found this

Shortly afterwards thinking that there has got to be some hidden buried cache somewhere....
I got deep loud signal. I knew it was something big but thought "this could be the buried cache!"
started digging and holy crap!
It's the top lid of my greatest find!!!

Had to take a picture to document it's uncovered state.

CRAP! Just a stove vent lid

HAHA, had a great time and came home with another Chinese coin and nice sunset.

Sometimes the treasure is all around
us. Not just buried in ground.

I got a 2 ft. X 3 ft. Signal on the upper part of a beach one time and thought for sure I had found a pirates chest. Dug down 18" till I could feel ...a piece if sheet metal! Lol!

Yes there is a well. I haven't personally gone down it (yet
I've got three Chinese coins,one wheat penny and three Indian heads from that area.
1887,1891 & 1908
The whole area is trashy, luckily not too much modern trash. So lots of signals to dig.
