I bought some of the West point quarters as they first came out and I tried to buiy from someone who had more than 1 for sale. My thinking was if they had more than 1 odds are they found a bunch in a new roll and not just 1 in circulation so I hoped they were in better condition. I just Joined the NGC so I wanted to see how the grading worked so I sent in 3 of my best looking west point quarters. I think that being there are 2 million of each design I would say 3/4 of each design were most likely not graded and in circulated condition so anyway Im happy with the results Im sure they may never be worth a ton but these go into the box of all my silver and gold Im saving for 20 years down the road for my kids. I also had a 1916 or 1917 quarter they said they could determine which date it is cause the date is worn off but there are other ways to tell so Im excited about that hope its a 1916 cause thats a good key date. Anyway just wanted to share with you here are the results not amazing but the ms 66 was nice

You can't go wrong with those, Tommy.

Way to go Tommy, glad you've got them!

A2: as to your SLQ, depends if it has Stars or No Stars. I believe the'16 is the Stars, check with the Red Book to make sure.

Yep this is either a 16 or 17 the only 2 they made of that variety NGC says they should be able to tell I hope it's the 16 fun to check
