Drove to my best sites to see if the snow had gone away
Even with the temps in the low 40's the rains the night before did little to wash away the snow and colonial fields still had 6-8 inches of the white stuff
BUT ! the Mohawk indian castle site cornfield had two big ruts from John the farmers backhoe where he drove thru to move logs !
Wish I had taken my Nikon to get pix , but it remained warm and snug back home A field about 300 yards long, covered in snow, but with massive potiential for 17th century finds !
Took just about a hour + to search the long ruts filled with water but I did make a pretty nice find !
Quite happy with my last find of 2007 - A cut brass arrow point
A Happy New Year Tnet !!
