I've gotten six 1974-D Double dies over the past eight years. Today I got a 1972-D with no "FG" (designer's initials) on the reverse. That's my second one CRHing.

I have found the 1982, 1983, and 1990 no FG's, but I was beginning to think that the 1972-D was a lie. Lol thanks for keeping my hopes up! I'm also going for a roll of 1974 DDO's someday. I'm at about 9 or 10 so far.

Is there a list of common double dies I should check for? When I date hunt I go so fast I'm sure I miss them unless I knew when to slow down.

As far as Kennedy double dies go, there are many minor double dies that don't command any premium. Several "major" double dies are listed in the Cherrypickers Guide and in Strike it Rich With Pocket Change, as well as a few other reference books specifically written for Kennedy's.

The 74-D DDO is major enough that I can spot it without a loupe and About Uncirculated coins can sell for a premium on Feebay. Other 70's Denver mint Kennedy's have the same doubling but it is not as strong, and even though they are apparently rarer (I know I haven't found any) they don't carry the same premium as the 74-D.
