A 1910 Wheat cent in pretty good condition. Oh yeah, I didn't have my calipers when I took the pictures so I put a nickel in for a size comparison.

Well you didn't need to because I'm pretty sure everyone on here knows what a wheat penny is and how big they are....

Nice find. HH ALL

And last week I got a 1960 silver dime in my change. Thing looks new too.

Nice, love it when that happens!

I asked people at work to sell me their pennies they save. If they use a coin star, it is a good deal for them as I give them one for one and they save the cost of using the machine. I have found a few wheats doing this but none as old as yours yet. Nice condition. There are quite a lot still in circulation.

Well well well, how cool is that? You don't need no stinkin' metal detector Fyrffytr1!

Thanks for the replies. I guess I will keep my day job as my attempt at humor didn't get picked up on. I thought someone on the four sites I posted this would have had some kind of reply about the size reference but I reckon most folks just thought "What idiot puts a nickel in a penny picture for size"!

1910 seems to be a mildly unusual year to find in my opinion. I've never found one even though they minted 146 million of them. Too bad it's not an "S".

It pays to pay attention! Nice!
