I was coming home from a skunked day detecting when I decided to stop and get a candy bar. the kid at the register didn't have any pennies for change and broke open a roll. The whole roll was wheats. He didn't think they were legal tender anymore so I offered to buy them for 50 cents. They ended up being mostly teens and 20s. and included a 1909 vdb.

He didn't think it was legal tender...yikes. A few years ago a guy got arrested for spending "counterfeit" money (2 dollar bills). People can be really ignorant. But you came out on top!! Did he have any more rolls of wheats?

What are ALL the dates of them? I'm interested in knowing.

A gal at a KFC a couple years ago actually tried to give change for a Million dollar bill she was handed.... story was pretty darn funny!
