GPX 4800 one All-purpose detector???

Hi
Please compare GPX 4800 to GPX 4500 and 5000.
GPX 4800 has 3 search mode but GPX 4500 and 5000 have 6 search mode.
In kellyco website have told that GPX 4500 and 5000 are Gold detector but GPX 4800 is one All-purpose detector!!! Why
Please explain for me this.

The 4500, 4800, and 5000 are basically the same detector, with only professional prospectors making use of the extra timing modes the 5000 offers. Steve's Guide to Differences of Minelab SD, GP and GPX Detectors

All three are intended as prospecting detectors but people are now using them for many purposes including relic detecting, beach detecting, coin detecting, etc.
