boy that is small
are there any scales that weigh in grains?

I am happy with mine that will go down to tenths of a gram. Don't think it is too accurate at 1/10 of a gram, but that value in silver is only a dime.

A reloaders powder scale weighs in grains, generally up to 500 grains by 1/10 ths

I have some low cost, Ebay electronic scales that show "gn" for grains and "g" for grams, along with dwt., ct., oz, and ozt. The day after I first got them, I thought the "gn" was grams, and when I came home with the very first 14kt Figaro necklace I've ever found metal detecting almost called for CPR.....
