My Gram used to take care of the birds here and loved to watch them from the same window I now watch them from . She would tell me all about the birds, who was who and what was what. We loved watching them and chatting together. When she was in the nursing home, I would tell her about the birds, who was missing today and the new arrivals. I know she would have enjoyed these pictures very much. These are for you Gram, I'm taking good care of them!

Great pics, CG. 8) My grandmother loved the birds too. She'd sit at the breakfast nook and watch them out the window. She got to where she couldn't really see them so we bought her one of those bird clocks that plays 12 different bird songs every hour.

Good work, I'me sure she would be proud .
We put up a birdfeeder for my Aunt who had Alzheimers, she spent lots of time feeding the birds, until the neighbors moved in with three cats.

Great pics. Gram would be proud. The detail is awesome. The first one looks like he is looking straight at you, as if he knows your taking his picture. The only one I know for sure is the cardinal. They are beautiful birds. Even Mr. Squirrel is happy too.

Thanks folks! I have one of those clocks, drove my Hubby nuts . The first is a Nuthatch, they walk down the tree head first, the second is a tufted titmouse, third is a downy wood pecker. I hope to get Mr and Mrs cardinal together one of these days.
