Grand Canyon

My point is: I didn't know they were there. Other people might not, either. I thought I would share.

Sorry if it bothered you. :dontknow:

I cherish the markers themselves, as art. I don't ever expect to find a cache, as I never met anyone who did. Although, it would be a pleasant surprise . . .

I am not surprised you would see them in the Grand Canyon Tom,
To my own dismay or surprise ... which ever, LOL.
I caught myself looking for signs when I was in Alaska ... of all places.
LMAO

The Spanish made it to Alaska. They had a bad time and shipwrecked trying to leave. Lot of em starved to death but they managed to build a smaller ship and get to a southern port. The expedition leader died early on. Sorry I don't remember any real details but this was on the history channel a year or two ago. Jim

Well...I would think anyone who SAW the Grand Canyon would want to explore it. And wasn't it just a decade ago or so that the area surrounding was close to mineral extraction? No expert at all..but on the other hand it does not look like mineralized geology in the canyon itself. However gold is where you find it :)
