Great pict, but what happened to kids riding the range on horses? Course I rode when I was younger, till I found out motorbikes only needed food(gas) when you used it, horses need food/water all the time....

Rode the range quite a bit myself (horseback),
they still ride a lot in this area, rodeo, barrel race, just
no Hosse's on this ranch, ,

Thanks folks, I gave them a day out
with Grandpa, got in a little fishing also,
but all we caught were "TICKS ".

Yes, they are lucky to have this ranch to ride on,
We are not quite in the plains in this area, have to get in
central OK, before the country changes much.
We are in the hardwood, pine forests of Western AR,
much like the Smokey mts of TN.

Don't think so Tom, we had a local (wind-bag) who
claimed, while stealing watermelons on a dark night, that he
ran up on a bull lying down (he had melon's under each arm),
the bull stood up with the man on his back, jumped two fences
without losing a melon.

yep that is how my kids ride the range at our ranch. Infact they are heading up there tonight with their dad...thank god! I get some time to myself and I can go MD.
