Grandpa's house

Went hunting yesterday at my grandpa's house. It was built in 1925. I have been fiddling with different modes on the DFX
and found a setting called HI Trash. It seems to pick out coins that were missed from previous modes like Coins and Coins & Jewerly.
These are what I usually hunt in. The DFX is very complex and is quite the adjustment from the ACE 250 which I've grown to love.

I found a quarter 1990 and a nickel I've yet to identify. Anyone know a good cleaning method?

Enjoy the pic's.

Re: Grandpa's house

try a little ammonia on a Q-tip to clean the nickel. Works pretty good.

Re: Grandpa's house

I also use the peroxide method to clean nickels, works pretty good for me!

You will do fine in time. The ace is quite the machine for the money. I have done well. I used a friends bounty hunter last week and I had to put it away. I have just got comfortable with my own too much. Nice picture. Is that snow is see in the drive way?

Re: Grandpa's house

No snow. But it is butt cold outside
